If you have a 60P camera, whew use that, slowmo will look amazing. I have a feeling you mean 60i though.
24 FPS is the rate that film cameras record at. When you goto the movies, you are watching 24P (most of the time)
30P is what deinterlaced 60i footage becomes. Shooting at 30P is smart if you don't want to deinterlace and don't plan on slowmoing.
60i is your regular framerate, especially for SD cameras. Its decent for slowmo, but it is interlaced.
90% of you guys probably don't know what interlaced and progressive footage is so maybe I'll do a little write up on that.
