| First off you should obtain an understanding of what aspect ratio(AR) is. This article should help.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspect_ratio_%28image%29
Now that you have a brief understanding of AR, It should be understood that if you are going to use the 16:9AR to film your videos, You shouldn't use fisheye as often as you would with 4:3AR.
Now there is debate as to which AR is better for Scooter Filming, obviously my preference is 16:9, In anycase, Its just that.. Preference.
Now with that being said. 16:9 is widescreen High Definition(HD) and given that it is wide screen, Fisheye doesn't look as appealing as it would with 4:3. Styles Differ when filming no matter what AR you are filming in. 16:9 is mainly focused on the Long Lens panning and zooming side of filming, Along with track dolly shots and so on.
Now i am opening up this thread to open discussion and Q&A. So feel free to ask questions.

| In my opinion, if your gonna shoot in 16:9 with a fisheye just zoom in so you cant see any vig in the picture. In 4:3 vig looks alright. Also its the stupidest thing in the world to stretch your footy to widescreen because your camera doesnt shoot in 16:9. But yea I like 16:9 better too, it looks more professional in my opinion. HD all the way!!!!! | |

| Agreed Carter,
With all my footage thats been shot on fish I scale it up in post to remove the vig.
I cant zoom in manually whilst recording because it struggles to focus the closer it is to the extra layer of glass. | |
