| I own an HD camera, the exact model is a JVC GV-HD500BUS. Would you still recommend a 4:3 ratio or a 16:9 ratio? | |

im pretty sure 4:3 HD doesnt exist..or its gonna look severely odd. | |

| You cannot have 4:3 formatted to todays HD standards.
There are a lot of different aspects besides 16:9 widescreen that will give you the proper quality though.
SD DVD quality is all good too, but its impossible to fit it to most of the newer formats and have it come out ok. | |

| So is 4:3 used for SD and 16:9 used for HD? Does it matter if you can change it in cam?
