Assignment #1

First topic message reminder :

Okay the main objective for assignments is to help you(the members) get a concept and grasp of filming and photography. Each assignment will be different, Maybe a huge difference or just something slightly different.

Now with that being said.. The First assignment is simple..

-Long lens shot

-On any obstacle/terrain

-5 clip minimum

-Raw Clips only(not slow mo or effects, transitions are okay)

Now with that being said.. Deadline is Feb 15th 11:59pm
After the deadline we will hold a poll and the Winner will have their video Posted on Inside-Scooters Main page!

Submit all submissions in a post below this one.
Please do not clutter this thread with nonsense, Questions are okay.

I didn't film this specifically for the contest, but it fit the criteria and I haven't had the time to shoot a video so here is my entree.

Loved the clips, the editing could be a bit better to be honest. I love the colour on the last clip

Thanks and yea editing was a little quick. It was when I first got the camera

got 4 clips for it today. still workin! should be done by this weekend

i dont think i will have it done in time..i chunked my eagle because eagle is a fat piece.

I dont think you guys are really trying for this, like i mean, its really based on filming but most of you have just steady tripod shots... :S

Nothing wrong with tripod shots, thats the only way I can record.

I would have to say your shutter speed is lower than it should. You might have a setting on your camera to change it. Put it higher for more clear action shots. Keep in mind you need more light for a faster shutter speed.

I think it might be your render.

That to, if your using Sony Vegas try changing your project properties deinterlace method to interpolate fields. If that doesn't work just trial and error the other options.
